Well, the first thing to do when buying dental insurance is to choose a dental plan. There are a variety of dental plans available to you who choose to cover your needs. Exist three major types of plans. The first is the level of PPO, you choose, make a list of dentists in the network and you can afford a specific amount of co-insurance (eg 30%) for each dental service. The second plan, managed care or DHMO is expected. This means a dentist some pay a flat fee and in return he will have some type of treatment at no cost to you. This type of plan is generally the least expensive. The third category, we have a direct refund or DR, it means that the amount of money you spend on each type of reimbursement for dental care.
